The preachings of pope in the Council of Clermont triggered emotional and spiritual tensions among Romans. Every Roman Christian wanted to kill and destroy the Innocent Muslim Ummah.
People’s crusade:
As a result of this, even before the Pope begins the war, a group of fanatic christians began to march towards Jerusalem under the leadership of a man named ‘Peter – The Hermit’. Peter was a priest and was an efficient public speaker. After the proclamation of war by Pope, Peter went throughout the Rome and gathered poor fanatic christians by his speech and marched towards Jerusalem. They Joined the forces of Walter Sans Avoir in Constantinople.
This combined army was indisciplined. They didn’t had any particular rules. They were led by weak Leaders. They were Barbaric. So when this army entered Eastern Roman Empire, they killed, looted their own Christian orthodox brothers and sisters. Due to their unbearable nuisance the eastern Roman emperor Alexios, fastly opened the gates of constantinople and led this brutal army into the islamic territory.
When this army entered the Muslim territory in 1096 AD, they began to kill and loot the innocent muslim women, Children and men. They also looted churches and killed the christian women, children, men and elderly people who stay in the muslim territory. They were not the army of God, they were the army of shytan. But in the end, in the battle of civetot, 21/oct/1096 AD, this army was crushed down by Sejuks. Peter – The Hermit, escaped the war leaving alone the dying poor christians. But Walter was killed in the war. Thus by this way people’s crusade came to an end.
First Crusade:
This crusade is also known as Princes’ crusade. This was the official army led by Pope Urban 2. He sent this army under the leadership of selective princes, hence it is known as Princes’ crusade. Soon after the destruction of People’s crusade, Pope commenced his preparations to send this army to destroy innocent muslims. This army began their cruelty in 1097 AD.
When this army entered the territory of Seljuks, Anatolia, the seljuk sultan was already away with his large army in resolving a dispute on the other side of his city. So, the absence of Sultan made it easy for the crusaders to capture the territories of sejuks. After this they moved forward by capturing Antioch in 1098 AD, where they killed more than 10,000 innocent muslim children, men, women and elderly people. And then they captured many territories of Syria, where they killed 100,000 innocent muslim men, women, children and elderly people and also incarcerated many innocent muslim women and children and sold them as slaves.
In 7/June/1099 AD, this army reached Jerusalem. After a seige of 40 days they captured Jerusalem in 15/July/1099 AD. Asusual when this brutal army entered Jerusalem, they untied their cruel activities. They killed more than 70,000 innocent muslims in the city and captured the city. Every street of Jerusalem was filled with blood.
The crusaders call Jerusalem as a Holy Place but they didn’t treat the city as a Holy place. They were not the army of God but they were the associates of Satan. If they were God’s army, they wouldn’t have killed innocent people. But they killed and destroyed thousands of innocents. This proves they were not fighting for God’s cause, instead they were just fighting for the worldly benefits. Thus by this way Jerusalem was again conquered by christians.
When Muslims conquered Jerusalem there was not even a single drop of blood was shed in the city, but when crusaders captured the city – the whole city was filled with blood of innocent people. When muslims captured Jerusalem they treated the city and the churches in the city with respect, but when crusaders captured the city they didn’t gave any respect to masjid al-aqsa. This is the difference between God’s army and satan’s army. The crusaders were the associates of Satan.
